ramkid - Magazine

From 2008 until 2009 (ramkid issues: #31 to #49), Ι worked as a freelance cartoonist in ramkid magazine for Lamprakis publications and 4pi publications. Ramkid, a monthly magazine for primary school children together with a full interactive cd-rom, published from 2000 to 2009. The contents of the cd-rom were educational flash games and presentations, starring ramkid's main characters. I created the characters of a teen dinosaur couple in love named Dinorams, and also the character of a teen girl named Thaleia. Ramkid was very popular for children from 4 to 10 years old and it is still a reference in educational games in greek schools.

Tales for Learning the Greek Terminology of Mathematics

Travelling... by Tomorrow

In 2000 i created the animated character of a little helicopter for the television program named:
"Travelling... by Tomorrow - Ταξιδεύοντας... με το ΑΥΡΙΟ", for the New Greek Television (NET) channel, produced by KINO advertising under the direction of Stauros Stagkos. This character along with a live actor were the presentators of the latest technological discoveries around the world. In 2002, due to its first year's success, a second series of episodes were created.

From 1998 to 2000 i worked at Finatec multimedia as a multimedia designer. Especially i worked for the project "My first 500 english words - Οι 500 πρώτες μου Αγγλικές λέξεις", (youtube preview), as an illustrator, animator, sound and animation programmer. I worked also as a sound and animation programmer for the projects "Learning traffic rules - Μαθαίνω να κυκλοφορώ", (youtube preview 1), (youtube preview 2), and "Europe in simple lessons - Η Ευρώπη σε απλά μαθήματα". Finally i worked as a multimedia creator for minor educational projects, such us: "The Olympic adventures of little Odysseas" and "Highschool Maths".

ILSP digital publications

In 2005 i created the animated character of an ancient Greek young man named "Anaximandros". Anaximandros is the main character which helps the user to navigate through the content of the "Nea Logomatheia - Νέα Λογομάθεια" software, published by the Institute for Language and Speech Processing, ILSP. For this product i also created the character of the Greek poet Homer.

Laboratory of New Technologies on Communication, Education and Media

From 1995 until 2003 i cooperated with the Laboratory of New Technologies on Communication, Education and Media, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, (U.O.A.). I participated in many research actions, and conferences about multimedia education as an illustrator and animator. From 1996 to 2000 i was responsible for the illustrations on the "Αthina - Aθηνά" magazine, published by the U.O.A.

In 2001 the educational Cd Rom "To '21 εν πλω - 1821 onboard" was released and distributed to the greek high schools, in cooperation with Finatec S.A., the Navy Museum and the University of Athens, under the E.U. program "Seirines". In 2003 i did the art direction for the multimedia Cd Rom "All Different - All Equal", under the E.U. program "Equal"
